After eight years of band history, five studio albums, three singles and countless concerts, the long-awaited and long-overdue LACRIMOSA live album, recorded during last year's almost sold-out European tour, is now being released.
From their debut MC to their 1997 album, these two CDs offer a fascinating cross-section of the entire creative output of a unique band that has continued to evolve over the years while remaining firmly rooted in its origins. Even a live album by LACRIMOSA has a few surprises in store, as it is not limited to merely reproducing existing recordings, but goes a huge step further.

The live album presents unique versions that arose from the moment and defy comparison in terms of expressiveness. Thus, the recordings presented here in no way replace the original versions, nor do they seek to do so. Instead, the album offers intimate snapshots and musical moments that are rarely experienced.

Above all, this double album impressively demonstrates the incredible magic that can arise when the band and audience merge into a single entity, in which mutual inspiration can be measured in musical intensity!
